On December 17th, 2011 after a few days with great attempts Eats Horde came in to face the fallen Aspect of Earth, the once mighty Neltharion the Earthwarder, and bring about his end.. the end of the now corrupted self-proclaimed 'Deathwing'. As per usual the group was in high spirits and we all look forward to next reset, gearing up and a short reprieve for the holidays and hitting it hard!
Our kill brought about epic treasures from the mighty Cache of the Aspects including:
[Gurthalak, Voice of the Deeps] 
which was looted to Dihydro for Main Spec
[Souldrinker] which was looted to Califax for Main Spec
Somavela looted an
[Elementium Gem Cluster] on her way to building her legendary daggers
Shortly after the kill, Thrall, great friend to both Alliance and Horde, told us of his fondness of our guild as 'Champions of the Alliance' and 'Friends to all of Azeroth'. We assured Thrall that we would continue to champion the great causes and to continue protecting the world, no, OUR world. For now is the time of mortals, and we look on eagerly towards gearing, eventual Heroic modes and then in the far future, we peer into the Mists..

As per usual the Eats Horde 2012 Logo Design is still on! We have most of this month and a
good portion of the full first quarter of the year to get submissions into Kidgroove!

The year 2012 is fast approaching us and even though we'd rather not think of the next year, much less the holiday thats almost upon us, let me add CONTEST to the to do list!
Eats Horde has a lot to be proud of and is a close knit guild. 2012 is a great thing to celebrate, and to celebrate the new year and stronger bonds and maybe even new guildies the contest is to design an EH appropriate logo or design for swag! There will be a single theme and I want your creativity to bloom from there. If the contest is successful or warrants a seed, or something that can be finer tuned then I'll consider it a success!
I intend to use the design and find a site to create some crafted EH swag like mugs, hoodies , shirts etc. That way, to celebrate or throughout the year I can buy swag and raffle off to guildies, or maybe even guildies want to represent the Alliance on Tortheldrin and their guild in FULL STYLE!
I'm not sure if the winner will either get free swag that I intend to create, or some serious game time and I'm not talking a month!
NOW HERES THE THEME:
This year I've been reading a lot of manga and just thinking of how BadAss the guild is made me think up this:
YAKUZA.
So, design something that best represents Eats Horde surrounding the Yakuza culture or japanese lifestyle (geisha, traditional japanese architecture, japanese gangs, samurai, ninja, etc) it's all fair play and remember think Eats Horde when you do it!
Remember anyONE, GROUPS OF PEOPLE, or THINGS can represent EH! From the particular characters we live with, to the funny threads we've had in guild chat to the MEMES we've all wanted so badly to make real!
